Background

Circus Freak Studios was a video game developer launched by former Infogrames employees.

1st Logo (November 8, 2000)

Visuals: On a black background there is a white circle containing a torn up circus tent. A long grungy flag is seen above (black with a white outline outside of the circle and pure white inside of it), wrapping around the tent. "circus" is on the top left corner of the circle and "FREEK" is on the flag inside the circle.

Technique: A still digital image.

Audio: The opening theme of the game, which is a rearrangement of the Looney Tunes theme.

Availability: Only appeared on Looney Tunes Racing for the PlayStation.

2nd Logo (November 12, 2002)

Visuals: The camera pans across an environment consisting of dead green trees on a dirt plain. It is raining as dead leaves are blown in the wind. The tent from before, this time in full color is seen with green light emitting from holes in the fabric and its opening. It zooms into the opening as the footage tilts 90 degrees and a flash occurs. It dies out, revealing the grungy green stylized text "CIRCUS FREAK" and "STUDIOS" below it. The tent from before is above the text as rays of light shine on it. Soon the tent and the text would flash before everything fades out.

Technique: 3D animation.

Audio: An ominous dramatic orchestrated fanfare, which includes a rearranged excerpt from "Entry of the Gladiators".

Availability: Only appeared on Superman: The Man of Steel for the XBOX.
