Clever Mark Limited (新星影業有限公司) is a film production company, based in Hong Kong.
Logo (October 27, 1989)
Visuals: On a dodger blue background, a shining, outlined "CM" monogram on the left wipes in, then flashes, turning gold (or silver, depending on film deterioration) with the right leg of the M being a filmstrip. The company name, both in English and traditional Chinese, slides from the monogram into the right. The "CM" shines.
Technique: A combination of backlit and cel animation.
Audio: A 5-chord orchestral fanfare, that starts with a violin arpeggio that repeats till the last chord.
Availability: Only seen on Gift for Heaven.
