(1980's)

Nicknames: "The Statue of Liberty (with American Clothes)", "Cheesy Colombus", "Malagasy Columbia Rip-Off", "Coca-Columbia"

Logo: We see various closeups of a drawing of the Statue of Liberty, wearing an American dress. After these closeups, we see the whole statue at the right. Then the word "Colombus" in the Coca-Cola font (hence the nickname "Coca-Columbia") scrolls down at the left and stops. The logo fades out and "présente" appears.

FX/SFX: All the animation, which is basic.

Music/Sounds: A rhythmic synth string theme.

Availability: Spotted on a French VHS of The Kid with the 200 I.Q.

Legacy: Not only does this logo have basic animation, but it's actually a ripoff of the Columbia Pictures logo (with the Statue of Liberty replacing the Torch Lady), even if the company asked permission to rip the logo off or not, this can make people laugh due to its blatantness.
