Background

Color Force was founded in 2007 by producers Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson. It is named after the actual color force itself in quantum physics, which is an invisible force that binds opposing elementary particles together. The company did not use a logo until 2012.

(March 23, 2012-)

Logo: On a black background, the letters that make up the company name, rendered in 3D, converge at the center of the screen. A bright flash occurs, forming a zig-zag line shape, and the words "COLOR" and "FORCE" on either side of the shape. As the logo slowly zooms in, the far right side of the shape shines brightly, then subdues at the top-right corner of the shape.

Variant: A short version exists.

Technique: CGI.

Music/Sounds: A synth drone with whooshes or the opening/closing theme of the film or movie.

Availability: Seen on The Hunger Games, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 and Part 2, the first one immediately following the Lionsgate logo. Also seen on American Crime Story and Pose.
