Background

Conaco is Conan O'Brien's production company which was first used for the short-lived reality show Lost. When it went off the air, it began to be used for Late Night with Conan O'Brien and The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. The company is founded in 2001.

1st Logo (September 4, 2001-2010)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a silver 3D disc with "Conaco" (in a font similar to the Conoco gas station logo, which might be intentional) engraved on it, rotating from left to right.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The ending theme of the show or none.

Availability: Previously seen on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien and Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and the short-lived reality series Lost. It is preserved on Andy Barker, P.I., which can be seen on Hulu or purchased on DVD. Might also be preserved on the DVD of Conan's 10th Anniversary Special.

2nd Logo (September 15, 2010-)

Visuals: Up against a black background, there is a mess of orange letters in a bold font which quickly unscramble to the left and right to form the text "CONACO" (in the font used on Conan from 2010-2018).

Variants:

  • A still version exists.
  • A blue version exists, on The Paul Holmes Show.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The closing theme of the show or none.

Availability: Seen on Conan along with other shows produced by Conaco such as Outlaw, Deon Cole's Black Box, Eagleheart and Final Space.
