Background

Corymore Productions was founded in 1987 by Peter Shaw, the husband of Angela Lansbury.

(September 20, 1992-May 9, 2003)

Nickname: "Corymore"

Logo: On a white background, we see the following text zooming in:

CORYMORE
P r o d u c t i o n s

FX/SFX: The text zooming in.

Variants:

  • In later years, the logo was on a blue background and was slightly improved. This was seen on Murder, She Wrote TV movies produced in early 2000's.
  • A filmed and a videotaped version exists.
  • On the filmed version, the text is in black.

Music/Sounds: A 4-note trumpet tune heard on the TV movies, the 1992-96 episodes have the end theme play over it, and CBS airings use generic network music starting in 1994.

Music/Sounds Variant: On some TV movies, the logo has a 2-note whistle, followed by a 4-note big-band tune.

Availability: Can be seen on Murder, She Wrote episodes from 1992-1996 and many Angela Lansbury TV movies.
