Background

Coyote Console was a British video game developer founded in 1998 by former employees of Acclaim Studios London. The company first began started off by developing Game Boy sound drivers and MIDI-editing tools before moving on to handheld and console game development a year later. It is likely the company went defunct in 2009, as the company hasn't developed anything since the release ofWonder World: Amusement Park.

1st Logo (March 2, 2001-September 18, 2006)

Logo: On a spring setting with flowers, a brown stone moves up at the center of the screen, then multiple carved stones rise up and form the company's logo (which consists of a stylized coyote howling at a moon with "Coyote" in a Simpsons-like font at the bottom of it). The camera then moves up to the logo, which then fades out.

Technique: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: Ambient sounds, followed by a coyote howling.

Availability: Seen on the company's earlier games, starting from European Super League.

2nd Logo (November 29, 2006-January 20, 2009)

Logo: On a white or black background, we see a crudely drawn and more cartoony version of the logo from before, but in color and an added cactus next to the coyote, underneath the coyote and the cactus is a border with the words "Coyote" in the same font as the last logo and "C O N S O L E" in a spaced-out Ad Lib font below it.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: None or the opening theme of the game.

Availability: First seen on the infamous Home Alone game for the PlayStation 2, then appeared on later games by the company, like The Flintstones: Bedrock Racing.
