Background

Create TV & Film Limited was a British production company owned by Kirkbi A/S, and was originally traded under The Lego Group as the motion picture division of Lego Media International. It split away as a separate division in 2003 under the name to produce content aside from that of the Lego brand. The company produced the BBC children's series Little Robots for Cosgrove Hall Films and the original three Bionicle movies for Creative Capers Entertainment.

In 2005, Create TV and Film went under management buyout by it's to its chief executive officer Vanessa Chapman, and renamed as Create Media Ventures Limited. Little Robots was included, while the Bionicle films were retained by Kirkbi/The Lego Group. Create went onto produce the CBeebies series Iconicles before silently closing in the 2010's.
