CMQ Televisión

(1950-1962)

Logo: We see the channel's studios TV antenna with a black CRT TV border, and the CMQ Televisión logo in the middle of the screen.

FX/SFX: Possibly none.

Music/Sounds: Possibly none.

Availability: Extinct.

Editor's Note: As of the time this was edited, there's only a screenshot of this logo.

Canal 6 Cuba

1st Logo (1962-1970s?)

Logo: TBA

FX/SFX: Possibly none.

Music/Sounds: Possibly none.

Availability: Extinct.

Editor's Note: As of the time this was edited, there's only a screenshot of this logo.

2nd Logo (1970s-1984)

Logo: On a grey background, a black CRT shape with lines on it, is shown with a grey circle saying "6" in the middle of it; and below, there is a text saying "Televisión Cubana" ("Cuban Television") and the TVC logo at the time in the right of it.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: Same as above.

Availability: Rare to extinct.

Editor's Note: Even though colour TV was introduced in Cuba in December 1975, it was in Tele Rebelde (Cubavisión's sister channel) to broadcast the First Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba; and Cubavisión still had most of it's progamming in B&W (except movies, foreign programmes, special events and probably some programmes) until 1982-1984(?).

3rd Logo (1984-1989)

Logo: On a background (which mostly were the channel's studios buildings, but could variate depending of the variant), the logo zooms in with a white rectangle border from the TV antenna.

FX/SFX: Scanimate-like animation.

Music/Sounds: A Cuban-sounding synth tune.

Availability: Rare.

4th logo (1984-1986/1987)

Logo: On a blue background (probably clouds), a ball forms and zooms out, then a black background forms, and around the ball there's a TV camera shape, with the left side in red, the right side in blue, and the bottom part in white. The ball is replaced by a yellow 6, which later moves to the upper-rights and disappears, with a rotating image replacing it in the middle of the TV camera logo. Then a rotating logo (with the camera shape that appeared before, but with a white circle in the middle of it and both the 6 and the bottom part being black) appears and zooms out, then the backgrounds turns white-ish and the main logo changes colours to what mentioned in parentheses, with the 6 zooming up until being in its regular size.

FX/SFX: Electronic/computer animation.

Music/Sounds: TBA

Availability: Rare to extinct.

Editor's Note: As of now, the only known recordings of this logo are in bad quality and in B&W (unless for a 1986 one which has some colour fragments), probably due to bad DX reception and USA jamming Cuban TV signals. However, there's a reconstruction made by "Canal Cuatro de Televisión", with mixed fragments from the existing videos; and a remake made by "No.", which was made from scratch. According to some YouTube comments and videos, this was used until either 1987 or July 1986, being a secondary logo.

Cubavisión

1st Logo (1989-1990)

Logo: TBA

FX/SFX: Scanimate-like animation and probably live-action for the globe.

Music/Sounds: A mysterious-sounding synth that transitions into a Mambo track.

Availability: Rare.

2nd Logo (1990-1996)

Logo: We start with blue and white stripes (a la the Cuban flag) sliding into place; as they finish, the screen fades to red and a white star in the center fades in. The logo fades to a top-down view of a star-shaped building. The camera pans up and then down through the building before zooming out to reveal a statue of José Martí, zooming out into a comfortable distance to reveal the full building with the name "CUBA Visión" in orange and the number 6 in red.

FX/SFX: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: A synth fanfare that becomes majestic after the initial four notes.

Availability: Rare.

Editor's Note: A nice effort for its first ID animated in 3D, especially considering the conditions the country was facing at the time.

3rd Logo (1996-2003)

Logo: On a blue background, the round fades-in and turn into green first. Then, it turns back and it becomes 2D, and the word "Cubavision" fades-in.

FX/SFX: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: A synth-pop fanfare.

Availability: Rare.

Editor's Note: Compared to the previous logo, it's amateurish and clunky, and the word "cubavisión" is tilted in the end.

4th Logo (2003-2009, 2010, 2011?)

Logo: TBA

FX/SFX: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: Same as above.

Availability: Rare.

Editor's Note: The fanfare feels outdated for this logo, especially close by the time it was retired.

5th Logo (2007-200?)

TBA

6th Logo (2009-2014)

TBA

7th Logo (2014-2017)

TBA

8th Logo 2017-2020

TBA

9th Logo (2020- )

TBA
