Background

Cube Vision is a production company founded by African-American actor/musician, Ice Cube.

(January 12, 2000- )

Nicknames: "Earth Cube", "Ice Cube's Take on the Universal Logo", "Earth 2000"

Logo: On a black background, we see the Earth, similar to the Universal logo with some less details, consisting of Europe and Africa with smokey clouds around it, which later transforms into a rotating cube. The words "CUBE VISION", in black outlined by a rectangle line in light gray, fades in below the cube.

Closing Variants:

  • The cube would appear in all white as a still shot on closing movies.
  • Sometimes the logo is sped-up. It's seen at the end of Barbershop: The Series and Are We There Yet?: The Series.

FX/SFX: The globe transforming into a cube, the cube rotating, the text fading in.

Music/Sounds: The movie's soundtrack or the end-title theme from any show.

Availability: It's seen on Next Friday, Friday After Next, the Barbershop series (excluding Beauty Shop), Are We There Yet?, Are We Done Yet?, First Sunday, and Are We There Yet?: The Series, among others.
