Background: Cálido Vídeo was a Spanish video distributor. Apparently it was a pioneering company on bringing anime to the Spanish home video market.

(1980's)

Nicknames: "Calido Octagon", "Logo of Peace Followed By Announcer Of Doom", "Don't Daydream", "The Jarring Cut"

Logo: On a red background we see a tiny elongated octagon with a logo featuring a white "C" and a white "V" crossed together in it. As the camera zooms in towards the logo, the words "Cálido" (at the upper center of the pentagon) and "Vídeo" (at the lower right). The camera stops when the "CV" and the words engulf almost all the screen. Then it jarringly cuts to the warning screen.

FX/SFX: The zooming in. Quite cheesy, as the design of the logo itself. The logo also could've used music.

Music/Sounds: None, but the transition to the warning screen is so jarring that we can actually hear its voiceover over the logo for a split second.

Availability: Extinct.

Editor's Note: None.
