Background

D'Wonder Films Inc. was a film company from Philippines.

1st Logo (December 14, 1979)

Visuals: On a black background with numerous stars, the letter "W" containing two lightning bolts can be seen inside a light blue square outline with the words "D'Wonder Films, Inc." displayed below. A second later, the word "PRESENTS" appears below the company name itself. Finally, the square outline and the text disappear, leaving the space background in contact for the rest of the logo.

Trivia: This is one of the first logos to use the Star Wars theme, which would later be used in various logos, most of them being South Asian film logos. These logos probably used the theme without consent, and this logo is no exception.

Technique: Fading effects.

Audio: The same music as the Star Wars opening theme.

Availability: Only seen on Bokyo.

2nd Logo (December 15, 1979-1980)

Visuals: The letter "W" in the same style as the last logo can be seen flashing black and white, along with the background. Two seconds later, the logo stops flashing before the logo, including the letter flash again, which makes the letter zoom out. Afterwards, the screen turns white, the letter turns black, a black rounded square outline appears outside of said letter, and the words "D'WONDER FILMS INC." wipes in below. Then, the square outline turns into an orange and the "W" turns gold. Finally, the background fades into black and the text turns yellow shortly after the shape and the letter are done switching to their respective colors.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: The sounds of a thunderstorm, along with an upbeat dramatic fanfare.

Availability: Seen on Ang Agimat Ni Pepe and Darna at Ding.
