DRG (Digital Rights Group) was originally formed by Ingenious in 2006 after purchasing Portman Film & Television. A year later, it bought the international division of Channel 4 and had other brands, namely i-Rights, ID Distribution and Zeal Entertainment. In 2011, the company's branding of subsidiaries were phased out in favour of DRG's. In 2013, Ingenious sold DRG to MTG Studios, which in 2014, became part of Nice Entertainment. In 2020, it became "NENT Studios UK".
