1st Logo (1984-1985)
Logo: It's simply a print version of the next logo fading in and out on a blue background.
Technique: None.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: Rare. Seen on early Daiei Video VHS releases from the era.
2nd Logo (1985-1999)
Logo: We see some quick flashes as the stars fly out with green lines, then the golden-yellow letter "V" with two straight lines each on top appears, placing on the center on a dark blue background. The green star flashes on the "V", and the lines extend as the words "DAIEI" and "IDEO" appear to make a complete word "DAIEIVIDEO". They shine.
Technique: CGI.
Music/Sounds: A synth fanfare.
Availability: Common. Seen on Japanese VHS, VHD and Laserdisc tapes from this company, such as anime titles and releases of Daiei movies.
3rd Logo (1999-2003)
Logo: On a smokey background with lines moving, we see blue and white letters moving from each other. It quickly rotates, and then the letters of "DAIEI VIDEO" appear in a plain 3D font. The letters and lines disappear, and the background turns black.
Technique: CGI.
Music/Sounds: A xylophone theme, and a whooshes, culminating in a synth note.
Availability: Seen on later Japanese VHS and DVD releases, like Nagoriyuki.
