Background
Dak Lee Moving Picture Co. was a company founded by producer Ho Man-keung.
1st Logo (1970's-1988?)
Visuals: There is a blue marble background with a golden "DL" and the text "FILM CO." seen next to it. The camera suddenly zooms in to the logo. The Chinese name, also in yellow-gold, fades in below.
Variant: Later 1986 releases would replaces a golden Chinese text with a white Chinese plain text than 1970s logo. Also, the film quality is a deteriorated variant, which is red tinted.
Technique: Motion-controlled animation.
Audio: A drumroll segued by a loud triumphant fanfare. Sometimes, the full fanfare from the South Sea Film Co. logo is heard ("Olympic Spirit" by Paul Kuehmstedt).
Availability: It was seen on Huang pu tan tou and The Legend of Mother Goddess, among others. The 1986 variant only appeared on Last Train To Pei-Tou.
2nd Logo (March 3, 2001)
Visuals: On a black background, there is a white filmstrip with "DL" and a Chinese text on the top of "DL". There is the English text saying "DAK LEE FILM COMPANY PRESENTS" below the logo.
Technique: A still graphic.
Audio: The opening theme.
