Background

Dan Krech Productions was founded in 1985 and was later known as DKP Effects.

(July 8, 1997-June 10, 2003)

Visuals: On a slate blue widescreen background, we see the letters "D", "K", and "P" which turned and rotated to the screen to reveal the DKP logo through the chrome hoop as the light flashes, turning into a black background. Then the DKP logo was formed into Dan Krech Pictures.

Variants:

  • The opening variant shows the text "PRESENTS" appearing below the logo.
  • On most of the animated TV shows and movies, the logo is in-credit.

Technique: CGI using Alias Wavefront Maya.

Audio: A cinematic synth accompanied by some whooshes.

Availability: It was seen on The Scourge of Worlds: A Dungeons & Dragons Adventure. Also seen on the Smart Planet TV movie, the Super Smart Planet TV movie, Télétoon Advance, Télétoon Frontière and the Happy Planet TV movie.
