Background

Daou Infosys (다우정보통신) was a Korean game developer and publisher. Until 1993 all its games were developed in-house, and after 1993 they were developed by Open Corp. They also licensed games by Color Dreams and Tengen for Supercom.

(1992-1994)

Logo: Over a black or gray background there's the blue text "DAOU", with a diagonal circle forming part of the O, in red, with part of the "U" inverted.

Variants:

  • An animated variant appeared on the NES version of Janggun-ui Adeul where the circle shoots in and the text then appears.
  • Later games had the logo appear with the Open Corp logo, with the text in black.

FX/SFX: Mostly none.

Music/Sounds: None. A brief noise for the animated variant.

Availability: Very rare.
