Background
This was the production company of actor/comedian Sinbad, with the name coming from his real name David Adkins. It could also have been inspired from his Christian upbringing, since the story of David & Goliath came from the Bible.
Logo (September 16, 1993-1999)
Visuals: On a white/gray gradient background, there is the word "DAVID" on the left near the bottom of the screen, and the three-dimensional yellow text "GOLIATH" is positioned vertically on the right. A purple ampersand bounces on "GOLIATH" and positions itself between "DAVID" and "GOLIATH" as "GOLIATH" becomes horizontally positioned. The small word "PRODUCTIONS" appears below "GOLIATH" aligned to the right.
Technique: Analog computer animation.
