Background

De Anza College Film Dept. was the film production branch of De Anza College, located in Cupertino, California.

Logo (1982)

Visuals: On a navy blue starfield, a blue filmstrip appears from the top left corner and zooms in. While the filmstrip is zooming in, a tan shooting star rapidly swirls around. The shooting star explodes, and forms the following words:

The filmstrip and the words flip, making the logo end.

Technique: Traditional animation.

Audio: A sizzling sound with an explosion, ending off with two sounds similar to a door closing.
