Background

Dekanalog is a film and music distribution company with an emphasis on presenting international titles and musical scores to American audiences

Logo (January 20, 2021-)

Visuals: On a black background, multiple gold blocks are falling with little animation. Several of these blocks form together the text "DEKANALOG", whose mask shape drastically changes as it fills up. Once almost complete, fewer blocks are dropped and eventually disappear, changing the text's color from tan to white.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A held, low-pitched choir-like note for most of the logo accompanied with a fast, repeating electronic arpeggio for the first half that ends with a synth note.

Availability: The logo debuted on their Facebook, X and Instagram accounts on January 20, 2021. Their first film Keep an Eye Out was released on March 2 the same year and has been used on all of their films they've released since.
