One or more descriptions on this page are missing or incomplete. If you have any further information on these logos, please consider editing this page to make our descriptions more complete. |
(2011-2021)
Nicknames:
- "The D-Box" (2011 version)
- "The AT&T Globe", "The Death Star" (2016 version)
Logo: TBA.
Variants:
- In 2015, it just says "DIRECTV". Underneath is the byline "Now part of the AT&T family" with the then-current AT&T globe beside it. This is basically a placeholder for the next variant.
- Starting in 2016, the current AT&T globe in light blue is added beside it.
- The globe is sometimes colored in white.
FX/SFX: Amazing CGI.
Music/Sounds: TBA.
Availability: Common.
Editor's Note: With the spin-off from AT&T and a new logo introduced by DirecTV on August 2, 2021, this logo's days are numbered. The Globe still appears on its headquarters, along with AT&T branding, likely since the company is still associated with the latter in some way.
