Background
Dolphin Production Company was an early computer animation company based in New York.
Logo (1974-1979)
Visuals: We fade in on a lime green circle with a dolphin outline inside it. As it leaps out, we zoom out to reveal the circle is part of the second "I" in "Dolphin Productions", which is set over a starfield background. The dolphin then lands in the "o".
Technique: Scanimate.
Audio: A slide whistle sound (which sounds like a police siren), promptly interrupted by an echoing electronic arpeggio, which gets quieter and quieter.
