Background

Done and Dusted (stylised as DONE+DUSTED) is a London-based television production and event staging company that was founded in 1998.

1st Logo (2001-2011)


Logo: On a black background, we see a stylized middle finger with a wind up lever containing a lowercase "d" and a uppercase "D". The lever then winds up making the tip of the lowercase d more higher. Then, the text "done and dusted" appear in a racecar-like font.

Variant: Sometimes, the logo is still.

Technique: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: A crank-turning sound followed by the sounds of the text zooming out and hitting the background.

Availability: Common. It was seen at the end of many concert DVDs produced by the company such as Avril Lavigne: My World, Coldplay: Live 2003, Phil Collins: Finally... The First Farewell Tour, Sarah McLachlan: Afterglow Live and Maroon 5: Live Friday the 13th.

2nd Logo (2012-)


Logo: On a black background, we see the text "DONE+DUSTED" in a wanted-type font. The plus sign zooms to the logo.

Variant: Robbie Williams: Take the Crown Live has the superimposed D's, the text, RW and Sky logos. Underneath the Sky logo, it has the "Production by" text. Above it, has the copyright text "© 2012 Farrell Music Ltd.".

Technique: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: None, a deep whoosh sound or the closing theme of the concert.

Availability: Current. It can be seen at the end of concerts, as well as TV specials such as U2: Innocence + Experience Live in Paris, and the 2016 Stand Up to Cancer telethon.
