Background

Doors of Wonder was a home video sub-label of Sony Wonder, made for adapting certain award-winning children's books into half-hour animated videos.

Logo (March 25, 1997-2000)

Visuals: A bright star effect spins and fades away as a blue door opens, containing a glowing white doorway. The background then dissolves from black to a faintly-cloudy sky, while stars fly out of the door. A rainbow later shoots out of the door, flying towards the screen before another rainbow forms from the lower-left corner behind the logo. While this happens, a yellow-babyblue gradient ribbon (with a blue-star pattern on each end) and the label's name (in a modified Flareserif 821 Bold font, with the word "of" in Florens LP Flourished) in indigo (with a yellow shadow) both wipe in. The doorway then turns blue with multi-colored stars, filling in the rest of the space between the door and "WONDER". The logo fades out shortly after.

Variants:

A short version exists on certain trailers for the label, which starts at the text wiping in.
The Little Witch trailer uses a faster version of the full logo.
On the trailers for Famous Fred and Little Witch, there's a background version with just the door and blue-and-white stars on a periwinkle background, with the VHS (and DVD, in the case of the latter title) of the advertised video popping out of the door, zooming in and spinning to the center of the screen.

Technique: A mix of cel animation and CGI.

Audio: A humming sound with three tubular bells at the start. Then, a whimsical clarinet theme with sparkling chimes that culminates into a triumphant harp note.

Audio Variant: For their trailers, it's the theme song (or select music) from the advertised video.

Availability:

This only appears on Sony Wonder releases (and trailers) under this sub-label, like The Rainbow Fish and Dazzle the Dinosaur, Mama, Do You Love Me?, Famous Fred, and Little Witch.
- Other releases in the Rainbow Fish series don't carry the label, but still contain advertisements pertaining to such.
Despite Lapitch the Little Shoemaker being advertised alongside these titles, the logo is not on its trailer or its release, since it was instead under the "Sony Wonder Movie Matinee" label.
