1st Logo (1978-1983?)

Logo: On a black background, we see two yellow trails spinning inwards circularly. The trails then merge into one, which zooms out and gives off a yellow glow. The glow dies off to reveal the word "ACCESS" in an Art Deco font, on top of which five orange sunrays appear. The rays shoot off and a stylized sunrise appears, moving "ACCESS" down. The text "ALBERTA EDUCATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION" then zooms in below.

FX/SFX: The trailing animation.

Music/Sounds: A synth tune ending on a horn fanfare. Sometimes, an announcer is heard over saying "The following educational programming is brought to you by Access, the Alberta Educational Communications Corporation."

Availability: Seen at the beginning of documentaries by Access Network from the era, like Eureka. Sometimes, PBS airings of Eureka used the OET logo instead.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo (Late 80's-Early 90's)

Logo: TBA.

FX/SFX: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: TBA.
