Background

1st Logo (2003-December 23, 2005)

Visuals: On a blue background with squares; a red and white animated girl with a red springy bow, wearing a white shirt with a play button on it named Dot, walks around the screen, when all of a sudden, the Kids CBC logo bumps into her. Then, Dot giggles and plays with the logo, pretending that it is a ball. Out of curiosity, Dot wonders what will happen to the logo when she touches it. She then throws the logo, turns around and says “Whee!”. The logo then bounces and spins around and grows bigger, and then finishes in its normal position. Dot then giggles again.

Variants:

Technique: Motion-capture CGI and 2D animation.

Audio: A looped drum beat, with the corresponding sound effects, and Dot’s giggles. Dot’s voice is provided by Connie Behr.
