1st Logo (2001-2006)
Logo: On a blue background, we see a globe that zooms out to reveal a yellow surface with a map. Then, we look to the different parts of the CBC symbol flying and setting to form the logo, along with the text "CBCnews". At the end, a byline which reads "A PRODUCTION OF CANADIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION" appears with a copyright stamp under it.
