Background: CIFESA (which stands for Compañía Industrial del Filme Español S.A.) was a film studio founded in Sagunto, Valencia, Spain in 1932 by Vicente Trenor. At the beginning, CIFESA exclusively distributed material from Columbia Pictures. During the 1940s, it was the leading film studio during the Golden Age of Spanish Cinema. It closed down in 1965, after 4 years of inactivity.
