Background: It started in 2000 as TVR Curico, a regional channel from Curicó (from the Maule region) and part of a family of channels with TVR Linares (today know as TV5 Linares) and TVR Talca (still affiliated as Telecanal Talca). All of these mentioned channels allied with Telecanal in 2006, and during this time this channel was renamed TVR Telecanal Curico, but in 2009 and at some point, the channel would separate from Telecanal and his "TVR" family and return with his original name, becoming independent. Today it is currently known as Canal 11 Curico and is part of ARCATEL.
