Background
Canal 4 is an Uruguayan public TV channel that started broadcasting in 1961, being the second oldest channel in the country. It is currently managed by Grupo Monte Carlo.
1st ID (1983-1990)
Visuals: It's the same 1980 ID of Rede Globo, but before the silver sphere fading into the Rede Globo logo, the animation stops, and instead an italic "4" appear in the sphere, with "Monte Carlo" fading in their sides later.
Technique: Same as the Rede Globo ID with primitive animation.
Audio: A movie-like orchestral fanfare with an announcer saying "Canal 4, Monte Carlo, TV color" which translates to "Channel 4, Monte Carlo, color TV".
2nd ID (1990-1992)
Visuals: The camera moves out of an antenna. The same "4" from before but white and with their lower part made of 3 colored squares (red, blue and green) appear flipping and then moving to the left of the screen. The indicator "MONTE CARLO CXB4 TV CANAL" appear on the right. The number shines at the end.
