Background

Cinémaginaire is a Canadian production company. The company is based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and is headed by co-founders Denise Robert, who serves as President and Daniel Louis, who serves as Vice President.

1st Logo (September 25, 1998-November 20, 2000)


Visuals: There is a gray-tinted footage of a sky with the ocean. A gray moon rises from the water and oce it stops, a flash occurs as a comet appears from the planet. The comet writes "Cinemaginaire" in a shining scripted font and sets on top of the first "e", making "Cinémaginaire". The shining dies down and the whole text becomes light blue, while the accent turns red.

Technique: 2D animation and live-action.

Audio: A humming note is heard first. Then, there is a wind flourish followed by a calm piano theme and a pizzicato note.

Availability: Seen on films such as C't'à ton tour, Laura Cadieux and Stardom.
