1st Bumper (2002-2006)
Visuals:
- Promo: The Disney Channel Mickey head logo appears and jumps back to the bottom left corner of the screen. The show's name is seen on the upper right corner. Sometimes, a scene from the show can be seen within the Mickey head.
- Coming Up Next/Commercial Break: The Mickey head peeks out of the right side of the screen. A scene from the upcoming/currently airing show plays inside. The head then goes away and reappears on the bottom left of the screen, with an animation (see Variants below) playing inside of it.
- For coming up next bumpers, "next" is first seen, which gets replaced by arrows, segueing into the bumper sequence, which plays as normal, but "next" is seen on the top left corner. There is also an indicator for the two shows coming up next on the left side of the screen, and two scenes from two different shows play inside the Mickey head.
Variants: The color scheme varies depending on the show (for the promo bumper), but there are several "standard" color schemes used throughout its lifespan:
- Purple background with "star" shapes, a city at night with fireworks within the Mickey head.
- Green or red locker background, within the Mickey head the screen zooms in to a blue locker as various objects get thrown out of it. The door closes, revealing the Disney Channel text over it.
- Yellow board game pawns floating over a yellow background, an assortment of board game pieces over a board with the Disney Channel text on it within the Mickey head.
- Background consisting of green circles of various sizes and shades, yellow Mickey head with yellow fizzy bubbles inside.
- Background with red or green audio spectrums, yellow or blue Mickey head with yellow or blue speakers inside, respectively.
- Yellow background with bone shapes, red Mickey head with dog treats over a red surface inside.
- Green background with lights forming a heart and various punctuation marks, blue Mickey head with a computer interface inside (showing hearts, emoticons and a loading bar). The colors may be swapped.
Technique: CGI.
Audio:
- Promo: Usually a background piece from the show or an instrumental version of the show's theme, accompanied by an announcer.
- Coming Up Next/Commercial Break: A variant of the Disney Channel theme.
2nd Bumper (Ribbon) (2007-2010)
Visuals:
- Promo: A ribbon flies and creates a spiral, which turns into the Mickey head logo. The logo settles down on the bottom left corner as the show's name fades in on the upper right corner of the screen.
- Bumper: A ribbon flies and encircles a character (or characters plural) from the upcoming/currently airing show. The character is usually inside a geometric shape such as a star or a hexagon. The ribbon continues to fly and may encircle another character. It then settles down and forms the Mickey head logo, bigger than the promo version. The show's name fades in on the upper right corner.
- For Coming Up Next bumpers (officially referred to as Menus), a large "next" first appears as the ribbon flies over it.
All types of visuals (Promo, Bumper, Menu) had at least 10 different animations.
Technique: CGI by New Wave Entertainment.
Audio: Usually a variant of the Disney Channel's signature theme, accompanied by an announcer.
