Background

ELTR (ЭлТР) is a Kyrgyz TV station founded in 2005, focused on news / state-sponsored programming.

1st ID (2005-2009)

Visuals: The sequence begins by zooming into a photo of a building, likely the main headquarters of the company. The screen flashes from glossy blue to white, and the screen fades briefly into a blue digital sequence with lights, before fading in to white again - the ELTR logo, a cursive "ЭлТР" in a blue/red/yellow thermal-style gradient, briefly flashes for half a second after the fading as it cuts into another digital sequence. Then we see a zooming out aerial shot of Hong Kong, taken from another footage (which is unidentified at this point). The camera moves back to reveal a satellite, and the camera turns 180 degrees as the camera moves through its platform. We can see the ELTR logo cheaply superimposed on the side. After we focus on the platform, the screen changes to another aerial shot again, as we spin into the roof of a building. The screen cuts into footage of a satellite in a dark sky. The screen cuts into several photos of the broadcasting center of ELTR in quick succession, as it changes into animated computer sequences of an application zooming into an aerial view (again, part of the footage described before). The screen cuts into a zooming-out shot of a government palace at night, with the ELTR bug appearing in the corner. The camera cuts to another angle of said building while the ELTR logo flashes in by a blue light.

Technique: A combination of different footage with computer animation, most likely done with a video editing software.

Audio: A news fanfare, flashing and whooshing sounds, digital beeps during the satellite sequences, and a quieter whoosh during the government building footage.
