Background

JOGM-DTV is the callsign of Hiroshima Home Television Co., Ltd. (HOME, 広島ホームテレビ), the All-Nippon News Network affiliate for Hiroshima Prefecture. It made a license request on September 18, 1964 under the name of Setonaikai Broadcasting (unrelated to the current one in Kagawa Prefecture). Its license was eventually granted on November 18, 1969 and the name Hiroshima Home Television was selected on December 25, 1969. Test broadcasts started on October 1, 1970 and full-time service started on December 1, 1970 at 6:50 AM. Its abbreviation until March 1986 was UHT (UHF Hiroshima-Home Television).

Visuals:

Startup: This ident starts with a close-up of the Atomic Bomb Dome at sunrise, which zooms out to reveal the full monument. It then cuts to footage of pigeons flying in the sky. A few seconds later, the white "UHT" logo and "広島ホームテレビ" in a blocky font appear as the sky turns from red to light blue. It then cuts into another sky background which zooms into the TV station's headquarters. The day of the week and date are then displayed, before it is replaced with the same UHT and "広島ホームテレビ" text from earlier in the opening.
Closedown: On a blue background, there is an illustration of the company's headquarters with several yellow stars in the sky, with "35" in a red box on the bottom-right corner next to "ホームテレビ" in the same font as the opening. After the announcement on the end of the program ends, another slide with technical information appears:

Startup: George Frideric Handel's Music for the Royal Fireworks in the Atomic Bomb Dome and pigeon part, followed by Tara's theme from Gone with the Wind in the station HQ part.
Closedown: On the station headquarter slide, a female announcer says "ご覧頂いて参りました UHT 広島ホームテレビの今日の番組はこれですべて終了しました。それではどちらさまも、お休みの前にもう一度、火の元・戸締りをお確かめになって、ごゆっくりお休みください。" (This concludes today's program on UHT Hiroshima Home Television. We hope you all have a good night's rest, and before you go to bed, please make sure that you have checked the fire and that the doors are locked.) On the technical information slide, a male announcer recites the information presented on the slide.

2nd ID (December 1, 2000-July 31, 2006)

Visuals:

Startup: The sky brightens with the surroundings of Polpol's house in the background, and a snail-shaped alarm clock rings. Polpol wakes up in a hurry, and a male and female narrator says "グッドモーニングぽるぽる" (Good morning, Polpol.) before leaving the house and running. When Polpol stops, a puddle of water dripping from a leaf that has been splashed with water hits Polpol and he gets soaked, but when Polpol looks up, he sees two caterpillars on the leaf that has been splashed with water hopping around, and Polpol runs through the puddle, stopping to avoid it and becoming out of breath. In this animation, Polpol meets a bird in a green space and rides on its back to go to a location shoot for a program. At the end, a male narrator in English says "JOGM-TV This is Hiroshima HOMETV" along with a buzzer sound.
Closedown: Polpol finishing recording the show, playing with crabs on the beach, turtles in the sea, and dolphins, before arriving at Polpol's house. At the end, Polpol goes into bed, turns off the lights, and a male narrator in English says, "JOGM-TV This is Hiroshima HOMETV." The video then fades out, and the words "つづきは夢の中で・・・" (The rest is in my dreams...) appear on the screen in white letters against a black background, and the video ends with the company logo appearing on the bottom screen.

Startup: A bird wakes up Polpol as he sleeps in a world (Savanna) inside of a television set and begins to play with him. The camera later fades to a shot of a tree where the 1986 HOME symbol appears while the camera zooms back. Then the camera later fades to Polpol sitting around some birds. The camera later fades to a shot of him running alongside a bunny. After that, Polpol appears outside of the television set, strikes a pose and says the following: "ON AIR", "JOGM-TV" (analog) or "JOGM-DTV" (digital), "ホームのデジタル放送はCH5に。" (HOME is digital channel 5), and "広島ホームテレビ" (Hiroshima Home Television).
Closedown: After the 1986 HOME symbol appears as some birds fly by, there is Polpol playing with some of his animal friends. The camera later fades to a shot of him running with some of his animal friends. After that, he gets tired as the sun goes down. He later waves goodbye to his pals before looking at the night sky. After that, Polpol leaps out to the TV set shot and says the same phrase from the opening.
