Background
NST Niigata Sogo Television Inc. (NST, callsign JONH-DTV) is a Japanese television station serving as an affiliate of the Fuji News Network (FNN) and Fuji Network System (FNS) for the Niigata prefecture. It was established on March 2, 1968, and began broadcasting from December 16, 1968.
1st ID (December 16, 1968-September 30, 1991)
Visuals:
Variants: Around 1985, the station relay listing was omitted.
Technique: Traditional cel animation.
Audio: A gentle violin fanfare.
2nd ID (October 1, 1991-March 31, 1994)
Visuals:
Technique: A mix of live-action footage with digital animation.
Audio: A soft and gentle violin theme.
3rd ID (April 1, 1994-March 31, 2002)

Variant: Around 2000, music was added to the closedown ident.

- Around 2014, the slogan was changed to "Niigata Smile TV" and because of this, the startup was changed with the tagline being added at the bottom.

- Startup: An operatic theme, which is "L'Oiseau Bleu" by Steve Barker & Carmen Daye.
- Closedown: A gentle guitar theme, which is "Beautiful Day" by Richard Myhill.
