The sphere gradually slows down as each individual arch flips itself to the right, forming a D, whilst a blue line slides below from the left side, leaving a fading trail and black rectangle with "KANAL D" inside behind. The line flies offscreen as the rectangle places itself below the D.

3rd ID (1996-2013)

Visuals: In the center of a blue-black gradient background, an amber sphere with a curved ribbon on the left of it zooms in. A glassy arch shape slides from the left and places itself next to the sphere, where additional curved ribbons spin, rotate and briefly expand out of. Another ribbon flies out from between the sphere and crescent and moves offscreen as a row six studio lights fade in the background. Four sets of the arch flip over the sphere individually, forming the company's logo as a gray rectangle with "KANAL D" flies up from the bottom of the screen before placing itself underneath the logo. As this is happening, several more amber ribbons fly across the logo as the camera pans upwards to the left. An array of miniature white dots appear on the blue wall as the arch and sphere fade to silver and light blue, respectively.

Variants: Unknown.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A news-intro esque tune, followed by a three-note jingle that repeats twice before ending with an orchestrated rendition of the five-note jingle.
