Background

Liberty University, known simply as Liberty, is a private evangelical Christian university in Lynchburg, Virginia. It is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia (Southern Baptist Convention). Founded in 1971 by Jerry Falwell Sr. and Elmer L. Towns as Lynchburg Baptist College, Liberty is among the world's largest Christian universities and one of the largest private non-profit universities in the United States by total student enrollment.

1st Logo (September 24, 2013)

Visuals: There's the bold text "LIBERTY" with "UNIVERSITY" under it. A trademark symbol can be seen on the bottom right of the text.

Technique: An still, digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen only on Unstoppable.

2nd Logo (November 14, 2014)

Visuals: Over a dark blue background, there is the same logo from before, which is now bigger and without a trademark symbol. Underneath, there is the text in italic "Training Champions for Christ since 1971". The logo zooms in for a while.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: The opening theme of the movie.

Availability: It only appeared on the infamous Christmas movie, Saving Christmas.
