Background:

Machinima, Inc. was an American multiplatform online entertainment network owned by WarnerMedia, created as a way for users to gain money for their video-game related content, specifically Machinimas. The company was founded in January 2000 by Hugh Hancock and was headquartered in Los Angeles, California. In January 2019, Machinima abruptly discontinued their YouTube channels, with their videos set to private, officially ceasing operations in February.

1st Logo (2000s-2010)

Logo: On a black background, we see text saying "MACHINIMA.COM" slide in from the right. When the text nearly finishes sliding, a red square with rounded edges with a spiky letter M inside of it reveals itself. The text zooms out and places itself on the M, and a drop shadow appears behind the text.

FX/SFX: The sliding, zooming, and drop shadow appearing.

Variants: On some Machinima videos, the letters "ORIGINAL" appear in front of the Machinima logo.

Music/Sounds: None, or the opening theme of the video.

Availability: Rare. It appeared on Machinima videos at the time. It also appears on Terminator Salvation: The Machinima Series.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo (2010-2013)

Logo: On a grey-black background, the square from the previous logo, now in 3D, zooms out and spins. Halfway when the square finishes spinning, text saying "MACHINIMA.COM" appears behind it and forms the previous logo, except the square is smaller. The square shines, and zooms in.

Variant: A later version removes ".COM".

FX/SFX: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: 2 whooshing sounds, a synth tune, and another whooshing noise in the end.

Availability: Was common during its time, but is now rare due to the privatization of all videos from the Machinima YouTube channel. It appeared on Mortal Kombat Legacy and Machinima videos at the time.

Editor's Note: A very memorable logo to those who grew up in the internet during the early 2010s.

3rd Logo (2013-2016)

Logo: TBA.

FX/SFX: The zooming and pixilating.

Music/Sounds: TBA

Availability: Again, it was common during its time, but is now rare due to the privatization of all videos from the Machinima YouTube channel. It appeared on Machinima videos at the time. We're not sure if this appeared on Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles or not.

Editor's Note: A step down from the previous logo. Regardless, it's still remembered by those who grew up in the internet during this time.

4th Logo (2016-2018)

Logo: TBA.

FX/SFX: Great CGI.

Music/Sounds: A techno tune.

Availability: Rare. It appeared on Machinima videos at the time. Also appeared on Happy Wheels: The Series on Go90, which is extinct due to the streaming service being shut down, however it can be found on YouTube.

Editor's Note: A big improvement over the previous logo.

5th Logo (2018-2019)

Logo: TBA.

FX/SFX: The glitching effects.

Music/Sounds: TBA

Availability: Very rare. Appears on Machinima videos at the time before the company shut down.

Editor's Note: Not as memorable as the previous logos, considering its short lifespan and simplicity.
