Background

Raintree Pictures is a movie branch of the Singaporean company MediaCorp. Since 1999 the company has ventured in movies from Hong Kong and Singapore as well as New Zealand production The Tattooist (2007) with Daydream Productions and NZ Film Commission.

1st Logo (1999-2000)

Logo: We fade to a blue background with the black Chinese text, with an underline below and "RAINTREE PICTURES" below it. The logo shines into silver, then it turns white.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A battle drum fanfare.

Availability: Spotted on their earlier movies, such as Liang Po Po: The Movie and 2000 AD.

2nd Logo (November 16, 2000)

Logo: We see a tree on a sunny grass field. Ripples appear on the screen, making a transition to the green words "RAINTREE PICTURES" with an underline below on a white background.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None.

Availability: Only seen on Chicken Rice War.

3rd Logo (April 26, 2001-2003)

Logo: On a marble background, we see the blue MediaCorp logo and it's Chinese name. Below it, there's the green Raintree Pictures logo.

Technique: None.

Audio: None.

Availability: Can be found on The Tree, I Not Stupid , Internal Affairs II, and The Eye.

4th Logo (2003-2010)

Logo: Similar to the second logo, but this time the tree is different, and when the ripples appear on the screen, making a transition to one of the following logos, on the same marble background:

Early: "RAINTREE PICTURES". The MediaCorp logo would later fade in above with the "Studios" script below.
Late: A wide green drawing of a tree, with "MediaCorp Raintree Pictures" below.

Variants:

On Homerun, the ripples transition to the same logo from the 3rd logo, with the green Raintree Pictures logo gains shadow.
On The Tattooist, the later variant of the logo fades in when the ripples appear on the screen.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A relaxing violin/piano theme, with the sounds of water drops splashing.

Availability: The most common of their logos, seen on The Eye 2, The Best Bet, The Maid and I Not Stupid Too, etc.

5th Logo (2011-2012)

Logo: Unknown.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Unknown.

Availability: It's seen only on the final two films from the company, It's A Great Great World and Dance Dance Dragon.
