1st Tag (1988-1992)

Visuals: On a white background, "P&G" in blue is seen. A blue medallion flips in to the right side of the text, revealing a blue circle with 13 stars and the face of an old man facing leftwards. The logo shines.

Variants: An additional byline may be shown depending on the country:

  • Japan: The byline "暮らしひろがる 世界の品質" is seen above the logo.
  • Indonesia: The following is seen below the logo:
KUALITAS KELAS DUNIA
YANG MENYEMPURNAKAN HIDUP ANDA
  • Malaysia: "Procter & Gamble" is seen below the logo.

Technique: CGI

Audio: An announcer says the company name. On Japanese commercials, the announcer says "P&G desu" (P&G です). On Indonesian commercials, the announcer says "Dari P&G."

Availability: This was mainly seen on Asian commercials excluding China and Hong Kong.

  • In Japan, this tag can be seen on Monogen Uni commercials.
  • In Indonesia, this tag can be seen on Vicks and Rejoice commercials.

2nd Tag (1992-1996)

Visuals: On a shady blue background, the P&G logo from before is seen, with "P&G" in a slanted serif font and in white and the medallion bearing no stars. Sparkles of light move downwards into the "&" of "P&G". The sparkles then exit the "&" and fly into the medallion, forming the stars inside it.

Technique: CGI.
