Background

RS Promotion is one of the main brands of the RS Group, a Thai entertainment company which was founded in 1982 and has since then become one of Thailand's largest media conglomerates.



1st Logo (2001-2002)

Logo: TBA

Variant: There also exists a short version.

Technique: 3D CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: TBA

Availability: Uncommon. It was used as a 40th anniversary logo.


2nd Logo (2002-2004)

Logo: Over a dark blue background the "RS" text wipes in through a light and a silver bevel blurs in behind it. "PROMOTION" appears letter-by-letter via light and the letters flip and compact into a black bar, as the light passes through the text.

Technique: 3D animation.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Uncommon.


3rd Logo (2004-2007)

Logo: Over a blue blurry background the "RS" text flies in from the bottom with a slight white light and centers. A flash then brings up a silver bar with the text "PROMOTION". The Thai name and English name "R.S. PRODUCTION PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED" fades in below.

Technique: Basic 3D animation.

Music/Sounds: A low whoosh, following a Deep Note styled synth.

Availability: Common in Thailand; seen on music and videoke VCDs from the company.


4th Logo (2007-2015)

Logo: Over a white background, multiple multicolored drops bounce into the center and merge into one, bigger blue drop. The drop then turns into a pea-like shape with a glossy material, in it is the "RS" text and a rounded figure at the left. The text "inspired." is shown below.

Technique: 3D animation.

Music/Sounds: A synth note, with water sounds and an electric piano arpeggio when the drops merge. Warbling sounds and a 4-note theme are then heard.

Availability: Common in Thailand; seen on music and videoke VCDs from the company.
