Background
Rede Telecine (also commonly known as Telecine) is a Brazilian premium television network and film production company owned by Canais Globo, a division of Grupo Globo, also jointly owned with Hollywood studios Paramount Pictures, Universal Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, and Walt Disney Studios, that was launched in 1991.
1st Logo (2008-2010)
Logo: On a black background we see the five hexagon-like shapes that reassemble the letter "C" with white, red, blue, green and yellow brite parts on it. Then the waves flash out as the curves transforms the shapes into the letter "C" as the waves fly around a bit. Afterwards other letters beginning to light up to form the word "TELECINE" with the colored waves turning red to form a red rectangle with the word "CINE" on it and as it zooms out the word "PRODUCTIONS" in the same font as the "TELECINE" logo fades in below via a swiping effect.
Variant: There is a version where it replaces the word "PRODUCTIONS" with the text "O MELHOR DO CINEMA" in the same font as the logo and the word above.
FX/SFX: CGI animation.
Music/Sounds: None or some electric sounds then a techno-hip hop dramatical rock fanfare that ends with a thud sound.
Availability: Seen on its films that they co-produced (and sponsored) until 2010.
Editor's Note: None.
