Revision as of 13:38, 30 June 2024

1st Logo (September 2, 2009-September 27, 2017)

Visuals: Panning from the bottom, is a grass-field landscape with a black tree, and between it are the white text "SPRING" and "FILMS". The lines form from the middle, underlining the text, as the shine transitions the tree and the text into a flat and dark green and the background turns completely white.

Technique: 3D animation.

Variant: Starting with the movie, Kimmy Dora: Ang Kiyemeng Prequel, the logo is more enhanced. The sun's rays can visibly show the logo and the landscape itself. The text's silhouette can be seen before it can be visible when the sun's rays get lighter. Also, the tree's leaves grow during the sequence. During the background transformation, the shiningness doesn't affect the logo, just the background turns completely white.

Audio: A calm flute tune and birds chirping. Otherwise, the opening theme of the film.

Availability: Seen on films from the company starting with Kimmy Dora: Kambal sa Kiyeme. The last film to use this logo is Last Night. Northern Lights: A Journey to Love, however, does not use this logo.

2nd Logo (August 3, 2018-October 29, 2020)

Visuals: Similar to the enhanced 2009 variant of this logo, but the burst can visibly show the logo instead of the sun's rays. And the sun's rays are removed. The yellow-circled sun is shown rising from the bottom. It moves until the tree is fully behind the sun. The landscape does not turn completely white, and instead, the "1" fades in and the "SPRING" and "FILMS" wipe from the middle, changing from white to dark green. The "years" writes itself below the bottom right corner of the tree, as the tree shines from the bottom left.

Technique: 3D animation.

Audio: A calm violin tune with Chinese instrument-like notes and ends with a 4-note tune. Otherwise, none, or the film's opening theme.

Availability: This logo is seen on films starting with Kuya Wes. The last film to use this logo is Manilennials.

3rd Logo (October 29, 2020-)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a white flare tracing the green line, as the text "SPRING" traces itself in each character. The white flare then after the text was formed, traces the tree's alpha quickly, sizing down the white flare as the white branches form by tracing from the bottom in electrical effects as it leaves a few particles. When the tree is fully formed, the white flare continues tracing the line while continuing at the same speed, as the text "FILMS" traces itself in each character. The white flare continues moving until the "FILMS" is completely formed.

Technique: Computer effects.

Variants:

  • In the film My Amanda, it appears slower as usual.
  • In the film SpellBound, the logo is shown forming before the Viva Films is done dissolving.

Audio: Twinkkling sounds. Otherwise, none, or the film's opening theme.

Availability: Seen on films starting with Hayop Ka!, including the film SpellBound, despite not being produced by the company.
