Background
This is the copyright holder of KLRU-TV, inaugurated circa 1988.
1st Logo (1988)
Visuals: The ending of the 1980s KLRN logo, but replaced with “THE CAPITAL OF TEXAS PUBLIC TELECOMMUNICATIONS COUNCIL.”
Technique: Scanimate effects and chyron.
Audio: A cymbal roll, which is used in the 1st KLRU ID.
Availability: Was used on early episodes of Austin City Limits, only for a limited time, replacing the Southwest Texas Public Broadcasting Council logo, and succeeded by the 1st KLRU logo.
