Background
These are the viewer advisory bumpers that were used by the former Canadian premium service The Movie Network.
1st Bumper (2000-2008)
Visuals: On a blue silk background, the Movie Network logo forms by spinning in the top left corner. In the middle, there is the advisory text, with the rating in a black box in the lower left corner of the screen.
Technique: CGI and live action.
Audio: A soft orchestral tune plays while a male announcer reads the text onscreen.
2nd Bumper (2008-2016)
Visuals: Over a blue signature film chip that has taken up the whole screen, there is the text "The following presentation..."
- "is intended for all audiences"
- "contains scenes with mature themes"
- "contains scenes with violence and coarse language"
- "contains scenes with violence, coarse language, and mature themes"
- "contains scenes with violence, coarse language, nudity, and mature themes"
- "contains scenes with graphic violence, coarse language, and mature themes"
