Background

Thúy Nga Inc. (formerly known as Thúy Nga Paris) is an American entertainment company founded in 1984 in Paris, and currently based in Westminster, California.

1st Logo (1984-1989)

Visuals: The finished logo has the green text "THÚY NGA PARIS" with the first two words containing over and underlines and the latter within a tube shape against a dark gradient night background with yellow, tilted grids.

2nd Logo (1989-1993)

Visuals: There is the landscape of Eiffel Tower, the word "THUY NGA" animates. Also, the word "PARIS" fades in.

Technique: Analog computer animation.

Audio: The opening of the special.

Availability: Used on Paris by Night shows.

3rd Logo (1993-1995)

Visuals: During the opening sequence, the logo, with "thúy nga" written in a cursive font and on top of the text "PARIS", all against a blue box with a white border, flies in from the left. The text "PRESENTS" in the same box flies from the right and knocks away the logo.

Technique: Analog computer animation.

Audio: The opening of the special.

Availability: Used on Paris by Night shows.
