Background

Video Centro was a home video company from Chile

Logo (1990s?)

Visuals: The logo starts with the begining animation of the 1984 Prism Entertainment logo, after, the logo fades into a black screen with the words "Distribuido en Chile por :" fading in letter-by-letter and it disapears in the same fashion. Then, some color-changing lines appears to form a rectangle, the letters VC appear in a stylised font, the letters fade out and re-fade in again. After, "VIDEO CENTRO" fades in the same way as before. The logo fades out.

Technique: CGI for the Prism Entertainment footage, then, 2D animation

Audio: An excerpt of the begining of "The Final Countdown" by Europe.

Availability: Seen on some VHS tapes distributed by Video Centro.
