1st Logo (1980's)
Visuals: On a black background, a series of stripes, starting with red and then fading to orange as well as becoming smaller than size, slide in one by one. Then, they zoom out to the right center of the screen, where the background gains a blinking "stars". A light blinks from the top, revealing the white text "VIDEO TECH" stacked and in a futuristic font with a line on the "V", zooms in from the light and stops nears the bars. The logo pings once, while blue lights appear around the bottom of the screen, forming a "V" shape as "Presents" in a cursive font, flashes in with a white light and pings once. The logo continues a few more seconds before zooming out slowly. When it's fully off-screen, a light shines and rotates twice, once in each direction, before fading away.
Technique: Scanimate.
Audio: A noisy synthesized theme.
Availability: Can be seen on their The How-To Library of Video Cassettes For Home, Education, Business, & Industry collection of tapes, like Microwave Cooking, but they're very hard to come by.
