Background

Yash Raj Films (YRF) is a company set up by Yash Raj Chopra, an Indian film director and producer. He initially worked for his brother's production company (B.R. Films) and set up his own company in 1970. This production company had three consecutive hits in 2004 and in 2005 had two box office hits.

  • The Short variant exists which is used on trailers such as "Roadside Romeo".

Technique: CGI.

Music/Sounds: The 16mm film projector sound with a dreamy sounder with some bells at the beginning, the single sitar pluck followed by the repetitive "squelching" bassline played on Roland TB-303, increasing in the low-pass filter frequency for the reminder of the logo, then some harp strums followed by the timpani roll and the reversed cymbal crash.
