1st ID (1989)
Visuals: On a black background, would have a triangle Yorkshire Y chevron then animating Y chevron logo
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: Silent
Availability: Used only for the break-bumpers
2nd ID (1993)
Visuals: Same as 1993 ITV Yorkshire ident, but the "YORKSHIRE TELEVISION" text and then the Y chevron blue streaks.
Technique: None
Audio: Silent
Availability: Used for the break-bumpers.
3rd ID (1996-October 1998)
Visuals: On the similar blue background there is a YTV chevron spinning.
Variants: The break-bumpers would sometimes have an animated ball with the YTV chevron
- There's a nighttime version with a blue ball.
- A 30th anniversary variation used the cinematic ripping but the bumper is still.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: Silent or the first few seconds music is playing debuted on March 9, 1998.
Availability: Used for the break-bumpers. The daytime version using the music debuted on March 9, 1998.
